It was lovely to see so many mum’s at our Mother’s Day events last week. Thank you to all the staff who helped set up on the two days and particularly Mrs Coseru who organised the days so well ensuring everything ran smoothly.

BCA are Essex champions yet again coming 🥇 in the county finals of the Indoor Athletics competition. This is an incredible achievement especially when you consider how good the opposition is. Well done to the children and thanks to the PE team, Mr Garcia, Mr Kemp & Mr Carlile.

Well done to our swimmers who did really well at the recent Borough competition, coming an impressive 4th place. They were only 7 points away from coming third. This is our best ever result in this competition.

Many congratulations to our archery teams who came 1st and 3rd in today’s competition out of 15 schools. I am delighted to announce that we have now won this competition for the last four years in a row. Another very proud day for BCA. 🥇🏆🥉

Quick bit of exciting news to report that BCA has come 1st in this year’s yr 5/6 indoor athletics competition. I’m not sure how many years in a row that is, I suspect 13. More on this to follow. Have a great weekend 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Early Years had a special visitor this morning, Santa and his trusted chief elf. Santa then went around the whole school distributing gifts to every year group. Year 6s who are out on a trip today, will get their gifts tomorrow.
