I’ve a limited edition badge made from a WW1 brass shell case/soil from the Somme mixed with red enamel, commemorating the battle of the Somme 1/7/1916. 1 made for each man killed the first day 19,240and each is named. Mines Rifleman A J Packer, 15099 Rifle Brigade. 21yo

Been to Warrington Museum to see the stuffed head of Old Billy the oldest horse that ever lived, foaled in Warrington 1760, he died 1822 He was 62 yo He’s in the Guinness Book Of Records. Amazing and emotional

Amazing day, the total eclipse was truly amazing. Over 4 minutes of totality We lay on the grass beside a lake, the birds flew back to their nests, the moon passed between the earth and the sun Very dark and eery, emotional and got to experienced it with 12 members of my family

60 years ago today President John F Kennedy as assassinated in Dallas Texas. I’ve always been Intrested in the theories behind it. I’ll be visiting the scene and the Dallas school book depository museum next year
