Any articles on how preceptors can reflect/track/incorporate learner feedback? I'm finding zero and am starting to think it's not talked about enough. We're doing learners a disservice by not adapting and improving. Any articles on this out there? #twitterx #academia #residency

How are you people compounding Pyridoxine IV for INH Toxicity? 5g dose, but 100mg vials... :( Are we just drawing up and repetitively pushing it? - TIA #twitterx #MedTwitter

Feedback from a student yesterday, "Brianna you're really smart and intense, while @PCC_PharmD is really smart and nice, so it's a good balance." πβ οΈ I'm voting @PCC_PharmD for preceptor of the year! #twitterx

I learned about this JUST after residency. I always try to share with learners.
!!! Guys how cool is this: TIL powerpoint has this feature called "rehearse with coach". It gives you feedback about things like pace, pitch (so you're not monotone), filler words (it caught my use of "you know"ππ), use of inclusive language, repetitive language etc.

Productivity hack:π‘I save emails that I send frequently as a βsignatureβ in Outlook: new student and resident rotations, emails I have to send monthly, topic discussion articles, etc. What do others in #TwitteRx recommend to increase efficiency?

The best part of #ASHP22 Midyear for me is the excuse to see my people on the other side of the country π
Happiness is running into your former EM PGY2 resident alongside your current EM PGY2 resident at the ASHP 2022 meeting last week. Bonus points is listening in real time when your former resident is presenting at a national meeting. Many congrats Brianna! @BB_PharmD #TwitterRx

Last but not least: @BB_PharmD gives a pearl on sun-dissociate ketamine for pain repping studies by @ShannonLovett and @painfreeED π takeaway: use low dose (0.15 mg/kg x1) and slow (over 15 min) ketamine for pain @ASHP_EMPharm

Saw this hanging in the resus room last night. I really like the way itβs worded and I think Iβll use this wording going forward.

I probably should promote our EM Pearls session at #ASHP22, but I mostly want to ask for your forgiveness in advance as I'm doing this post-op with a midline in. #dedicatedorcrazy? #TwitteRx (But actually come see us 12/7 at 8am!)

Can someone explain the phenomenon of never being able to get this badge out of its holder, but somehow it has space to fill with mysterious crumbs. I even take it off to eat π #twitterx #medtwitter

They usually don't let me play anymore because all patients are technically my patients. Something about an unfair advantage π

We can't be the only ED that tries to make a good time out of working during city events (bicycle parade). #medtwitter #twitterx #EmergencyMedicine

Time to ditch old dogma and end the banana bag! Points if you can spot the inappropriate ED doodle to the board #pharmacyeducationboard #twitterx #medtwitter

Anyone have to justify to their own boss that Pharms need to be involved in committees/protocol/QI? Ongoing convo of needing time for projects/committees with their solution to us being "just participate less", IMO is a detriment to clinical pharm advances. Send help. #TwitteRx
