I finally fulfilled my ambition to visit the famous Saihōji Moss Temple in Kyoto. The mosses were looking their best in the pouring rain. For once I had to resist studying them, and simply submit to their beauty.

A good show of the Rare Fissidens polyphyllus (Many-leaved Pocket-moss) at Coed Craflwyn near Beddgelert last Thursday whilst searching for the even rarer Telaranea europaea that was found here in 2013, no sighn of that in four hours of searching in soaking rain @BBSbryology
