At sentencing hearing, Conrad Roy's father called for prison sentence of between 7-12 years. Michelle Carter's lawyers asked for probation.

Conrad Roy's family wanted Michelle Carter to be sentenced to btwn 7 and 12 years in prison. She got 2.5yrs (only has to serve 15 months).
