Some of our adults were able to join us this afternoon to get creative and make miniature sukkah’s with us to end our Let’s Celebrate Week where we have focused on the Jewish festival of Sukkot.

Today Dosbarth Porffor went on our termly library visit. We learned how to find information in books and chose our new books to bring back to school 📖

On Friday we were lucky enough to have a visit from an author. Rachel shared her book with us and we discussed the meaning of the story. We then took part in a story writing workshop, adding our own ideas to a basic story. Diolch yn fawr! @ICEWales

This week we visited @RhymneyLibrary and were extremely lucky to listen to poetry and join in with a sing-along from Leigh and Georgia @CCBCarts. We had a great time. Diolch my fawr!

Yesterday we enjoyed a trip to Rhymney Library. We listened to a story and chose a book to take back to school to read. Some of our parents were able to join us too. We had a great afternoon! 📖

Last week some of year 6 pupils presented their ideas to the school about why they think they would be great First Ministers of our pupil voice groups. They all done a fantastic job and worked really hard on their presentations. Da iawn, pawb!

Last week we had the opportunity to visit the Senedd. A great way to start the school year and our topic ‘democracy’. We are looking forward to the next few weeks and voting in our own school elections.
