What if your legs are God’s gift to you, Baddy?. They stand you out, and are your unique selling point. Without them, nobody would have known you. I understand that you have to undergo this surgery to ease your pains, and I pray it’s successful. But what if they're God’s gift?.

And yes, it is possible to do it all. You can be great at extracurriculars and still do well academically. Mr. A did it. Today, he is en route to the Global North on a fully funded scholarship. I draw inspiration from his story, and you can too. Remember, you can do it all!.

However, if you are not where you want to be academically, don't fret. Not everyone will have a first class, but everyone should seek it. What you must do is to make sure that you stand out somehow. Volunteer, take up leadership roles, build something. Just don't be ordinary….

As a student, try hard to have a lot of good engagements in school alongside your academics. These will stand you out among thousands of other students. A good student performs well academically. But an exceptional student excels academically and also in extracurriculars….

So, when I advised current students to take their education seriously, I didn't mean grades alone. Your education is a combination of all the things you do as a student: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Sports, Public Speaking, Hustling, Academics, etc….

Just yesterday, I found out that Mr. A had won one of the most prestigious Master's scholarships for African students to study abroad. He would be leaving the shores of this country and his life’s trajectory has changed forever.

Last year, he graduated with one of the highest CGPAs in his Faculty. This is despite doing multiple jobs, volunteering and holding a significant student leadership position on campus….

Not only that, but he also volunteered with different organisations in school to build his leadership skills. He would later go hold a student leadership position in his faculty. He even had to do other jobs such as printing because house agency work is seasonal….

Mr A did house agency work alongside his studies. This wasn't extraordinary as many other students did side jobs to make ends meet. What was extraordinary, however, was that Mr. A despite being a house agent was on a very strong first-class grade….

Let me tell you guys what influenced this tweet. A thread:. When I was about to resume my undergraduate studies at UI and needed to get an accommodation, I reached out to a few house agents. That was the first time I met this senior student whom I will address as Mr A….

You can avoid this with a simple prompt on ChatGPT. Copy the document in ChatGPT and use this prompt:. “Identify any spelling errors or grammatical inconsistencies in the document I will paste below. Do not edit or modify. Just identify.”.
You’d look at a document on your laptop 5 times without noticing any error. You’d print the document and then boom!. “Parograph 5 provides…”. 🥲.

In Ogun State, Dangote’s trucks have taken so many lives that people now believe that he’s sacrificing people to renew his wealth. Do you know how many people you have to kill for people to even think that you are a ritualist?. This madness has to stop.

8. FINALLY. Pray, dress well, smell nice (for physical interviews), and wear a smile. These will make you more confident and likeable. Remember, people give opportunities to those they like. I wish you the absolute best in your interviews. ❤️, Retweet, and Follow for more.

Your second question should be more of an advice-seeking one. For instance, “At some point in your life, you have been in this position I'm currently in. What advice would you give to someone like me who is just starting out and would love to be as successful as you?”.

Your first question should inquire more about the role. Example, “How do you measure success in this role?. I'm asking because I intend to bring in my best when I join your organisation and would like to track my progress.”.

7. ALWAYS ASK A QUESTION. At the end of every normal interview, you will be asked if you have a question. Never say that you don't have a question. If you do, you might have just disqualified yourself. Instead ask at least one question, and a maximum of two.

5. HAVE A PEN AND PAPER. This will allow you to take notes and feedback provided during your interview. You will also appear serious enough to be taken seriously. 6. BE HUMBLE. Take feedback and even criticisms with grace, note corrections, and say that you'll implement them.

I then took deliberate steps to identify honest and effective people to delegate tasks to. I also put up structures that ensured accountability even in my absence. By doing this, I was not only able to overcome my weakness but I was also able to scale my business.”.
