When it’s time for political talk, we do it. But when we have obvious national crises staring us in the face, I don’t politicize them. If you don’t want to change, that’s fine. Do your political whatever, get the notice you crave just don’t claim I’m part of you.

Out of respect, I’d rather keep quiet than speak carelessly. You could have done the same. You could have even said Obi was talking because of politics, not because he cared. But you went further to categorically say he lied, and you still can’t point out the lie.

Lol. You’re just looking for who to drag into your bracket, but I can boldly say I’m not like that, and I challenge you to point it out if I’ve ever been. At the core of my being are certain values I’m not willing to trade, not even for political affiliation.
You don't speak to issues. What you do, is disparage perspectives that do not fit your own bias(es). Anything that does not fit into your opinion basket is wrong and must be attacked, then you mask it with a claim to objectivity.

A man should have values that stand above party lines. Yours, sadly, seem buried under the urge to dress up bias in big words and pass it off as objectivity. You still haven’t presented the exact lies he said, and yet you're calling obvious facts "misinterpretation".

You speak from behind a foggy curtain. Question my objectivity because I stand on a different side from yours, and would not allow the politicization and misrepresentation of serious national issues and I will gladly indulge you. Politics is politics; issues are issues.

You're actually still young to not know when to call out failure, or when to acknowledge genuine effort, just because of political bias. Posterity won’t care about your party loyalty. It’ll care whether you stood for truth or kept quiet when it mattered.

The real issue here is how politics has blinded you to objectivity. You’ve become so emotionally attached to defending “your side” that you can’t even say simple, honest things anymore. It’s a sad way to live, to not have an independent mind for the sake of posturing.
