The main difference between coins and tokens is the fact that coins have their own blockchain but tokens are hosted on a crypto coin’s blockchain. This makes creating new tokens so much easier than creating a new coin.

Tokens are digital representations of assets that are stored and can be used on a blockchain network like UniSwap,Shiba Inu, and yours sincerely, Axl Inu. They are usually much more niche, and tend to be used for trading, sometimes payment, or, more usually to serve more purposes

Coins are digital assets that are native to their own blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. They are more popular crypto assets that serve broader functions like payments.
