meanwhile at work today I accidentally created a cursed symbol that corrupts every file it's put in. Melvin's head is literally radioactive and I don't know what to do

are you able to open the symbol? if so itd probably be best to try and copy what you can into a whole other symbol & copy that new symbol into another file (then wipe that spooky corrupt file.......🫣)

You should put it in the Johnny Test file you have then reupload it for others to discover.
