Summary: The WestO1 is a promising mouse with a good shape that's based of the Viper V3 Pro, however the QC issue I've had leaves alot to be desired. Hopefully the future batch will fix all the issue I've had.

After contacting Westlab, he told me that I had to add several layers of tape to increase the thickness of the pcb to help with the usb pin contact. This solved the issue I had & will be fixed on future batches.

There's also some issue with the 2.4ghz dongle, this is due to the fact that the golden pins of the usb is not coming in contact with the usb port properly, this sometimes causes the dongle to disconnect.

Build Quality/QC: The West01 build quality kinda dissapointed me, there is some sideflex if I grip the mouse below the sidebutton. With enough force applied below the side button it will activate the M5 switch. Hopefully this will be fixed on the future revisions.

Sensor: The WestO1 uses a 3950 Sensor with a HiSilicon MCU. The sensor implementation feels fine & I havent had any issue with running it at 4K/2K/1K polling rate. The sensor position being slightly higher than V3P is also a nice touch.

Coating: The coating on the West01 reminds me of other chinese mice in similar price range. The coating is grippy but it feels slightly cheap.
