Squirrels aren't negatively affected by the toxins in poisonous mushrooms. As they eat them it helps distribute the spores so more grow. They stick bits of mushrooms to tree branches to dry them out before they cache them in the ground, which also benefits the forest. So cool.

Half-male, half-female songbird, discovered this week.
This rose-breasted grosbeak has a rare genetic condition called bilateral gynandromorphy. One half of the bird is genetically female, and the other is genetically male. It is capable of inseminating a female and laying eggs!
