It's difficult to get non-citizens into school to conference. Why? Fear. I watched a school bus sideswipe a guy's car. The guy (Spanish speaker) told me to watch out for these bus drivers. When I tried to bring him over to document this he said no. Non-citizens aren't voting.
Georgia's Republican secretary of state found just 20 noncitizens registered to vote out of 8.2 million in his state. Out of those 20, less than half had ever tried to cast a ballot. The findings underscore how rare it is for people who are not U.S. citizens to register to.
