I have a place in France, with a crazy old lady as neighbor sending me nasty emails every so often So I set up a Lindy agent to respond diplomatically They've exchanged 10s of emails by now, our "relationship" is improving, and she has no idea she's talking to an AI

If the future of cars are autonomous. We don't need a front or back. Not even a windshield. We could essentially make RV like vehicles that move while we sleep, is more of a living room on wheels than a car. If we re-imagined the car today, what would it look like?

The longer I am in this game the more I see those that really succeed are those that master: Speed of execution at the micro level. Strategic sustainable thinking/long term and patient at the macro level. Mastering the two simultaneously is very rare. 🚀

@KurtWagner8 Speaking as a PR person…. That ain’t gonna go well in all kinds of ways. We aren’t just the ones who make and take calls from journalists. Often, we are the ones screaming at upper management to tell them that things are a very bad idea, because nobody else will tell them that.

When people say that technology can't help prevent climate change, it's either a profession of faith or a prediction about the future of technology. And since no one can predict the future of technology, it's basically always a profession of faith.

/5 TEACH 1 THING ON EVERY SLIDE — Investors look for frontier learnings. Every slide should teach 1 insight. Test insight quality. Ask yourself "will investors walk away feeling like they now know something others don't?"

Do you ever feel that some cities are just more alive than others? It's probably because they're "mixed-use". This is a simple idea, but it changes everything...

It's a bit eye opening how many time I, a climate scientist, have been called a denier in the last 24 hours for having the temerity to say our children are not necessarily consigned to an apocalyptic hellscape of a future. Doomism is a disease, and a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Simply put, the best story wins. Story is your operating system; it helps your community understand how to meaningfully contribute; and gets your team to product-market fit faster. It’s the highest leverage thing a founding team can work on.

People often assume that capitalism is defined by "markets and trade". But markets and trade existed for thousands of years before capitalism. Capitalism is only 500 years old. So what is distinctive about this economic system? Three things (well, more, but three for now):
