Namibia’s economy, much like the education system, is built on an elitist, connection-adjacent system. Producing more graduates by removing fees is not a “revolutionary” moment, because majority Black graduates will only multiply while institutions remain hostile & exclusionary.

Opposition parties,don’t rest on your laurels. Conduct an alternative feasibility report for a balanced assessment on the future of QUALITY education. It’s not just about access but absorption into the market. Oversaturating graduates in a fragile economy is just window-dressing.

Having attended the 8th ICT Summit last year as a speaker (our tech company @Autono_Me1 placed 3rd in the regional pitches), I agree with this direction only to the extent that @EmmaTheofelus continues to curate a public platform on which innovators can be recognized & rewarded.
No summit... Information and Communication Technology Minister Emma Theofelus said the annual ICT summit will not take place this year. She said the N$1 million collected at last year's summit will be invested in small and medium enterprises in ICT.
