The first draft of my very first #screenplay has arrived! I’ve already started in on edits & cuts. It’s exciting to see the first of my #spy novels in this format! #screenwriting #editing #AuthorsOfTwitter #writersoftwitter #authorscommunity #writerscommunity

Oh and as an addendum… I’m soon going to be dabbling in turning The Scarlett Equivalency into a screenplay… I think it’s time to dip my toes in those murky waters…

So I’m taking this opportunity to thank both actors for bringing these characters to life (so to speak…). Bravo for the incredible performances! And with that said, I return to watching Buffy whilst working on my next novel

Re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (tv show) has made me remember my favourite vampires (prob of all time to be honest) They were, without question, @julietlandau’s Drusilla & James Marsters’ Spike. Villainous vampires at their best (worst??) - that’s just my opinion ofc!

That’s it for transcribing until next weekend. I’m happy (I think I did about 12,000 words - I have to break up my screen time for personal reasons). The last in the trilogy the got me started writing is slowly getting there.

3 day weekend means more time for transcribing from handwritten into Scrivener. Currently sitting at just over 59k typed (not from just this weekend) with a lot more to go!

Well, I did it. I just killed off one of my main chars. One of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

This battle scene keeps taking turns I wasn’t planning on. And it’s working perfectly. I was dreading writing this - now I can’t pull myself from it.

50,000 typed words now - still a lot more to input and I haven’t even finished the tale yet… this could be longer than anticipated! And that’s something I’m completely okay with! It’s going to be hard to let this one go. Very hard.

Did more transcribing of handwritten into laptop of last of the trilogy. Still aways to go yet til finished. The chars don’t seem to want to get the battle scene started… neither do I cause I plan on killing off 4 of the mains. A bitter pill to swallow but has to be done.

Getting ready to write a final battle scene in this last of the trilogy for the Patrons of Earth. I even know who won’t survive. I hate killing off chars but it has to be done to pave the way for the Shadowminders series (of which book 1 is already out - Harbinger: Sphinx)

The finale of the trilogy that started me on my writing journey all those many long years ago has just made it to 45,000 words typed and a lot more still to be input (rough drafts ALWAYS get done cursively) I think this is gonna be a long one lol

Now waiting for my proof copy of the 4th in the spy series in order to do a second round of edits. While I wait, I’m working on the 5th in that series as well as the finale to the Patrons of Earth trilogy which has been a long time coming
