Austin Prep’s annual Convocation Liturgy marks the official start of the academic year, and was celebrated this morning on Fr. Seymour Field. We welcomed The Most Reverend Robert P. Reed, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, as the principal celebrant and homilist.

Shortly after we welcomed Middle School students to campus, Upper School orientation for 9th graders and new Upper School students began. We look forward to welcoming the entire school community back tomorrow morning. Don’t forget, school starts at 7:55 a.m.!

Today marks the Feast of St. Augustine. Our patron, St. Augustine is one of the most consequential & well-known saints in the history of the Church. His teachings sustain our journey in pursuit of Truth. St. Augustine as we embark on the journey of the academic year, pray for us.

School starts in just one week! Distribution of #ipads to @AP_MiddleSchool students and #MacBooks to Upper School students has begun. The Technology Department was available to ensure student technology is ready for the start of school. We look forward to orientation on Sept. 2!

On the first day of faculty and staff orientation week, Fr. Bill Gabriel, O.S.A., celebrated Mass this morning in the Chapel of St. Augustine. Austin Prep also welcomed Fr. Kenneth Eze, O.S.A., to campus for orientation and Mass. We can’t wait for students to join us next week!

Past players, friends, and Austin Prep staff had a great time connecting and sharing memories at the inaugural Alumni Baseball Game and Luncheon. After networking and lunch, players dusted off the cleats and played to a fitting 2-2 tie. #SwampBoys don’t lose on Little Field!
