The EPA announced yesterday that it will allocate $6.25 million to @AustinISD to support the purchase of 25 more electric buses! This aligns with AISD's commitment to transition to an all-electric bus fleet by 2035. Congratulations @AISDbuses!
Electric school buses are coming to Austin! Thanks to federal funding I supported in the Infrastructure law, @AustinISD will get 25 new buses and @DelValleISD 20 new buses. By going green, we’ll reduce harmful emissions to improve air quality for our children.

Thank you @RepLloydDoggett for prioritizing #outdoorlearning! Today Congressman Doggett announced that @AustinISD will receive approximately $2 million in federal funding to support outdoor learning at schools. All students need the opportunity to learn and play outside!
