Omer Mayer: Israel.Committed to @BoilerBall . Elite game feel. Can score from inside and out, and is also an elite passer. Is big for a point guard, listed at 6’4, 215, so we should see some lineups with him and Braden Smith. Adds another elite guard to the #1 preseason team.

Hannes Steinbach: Germany.Committed to @UW_MBB . Been dominant through two games, including a 19 point, 19 rebound opener. Has nice touch around the rim and moves well for his size. Should start at Washington from day one.

Thiago Sucatzky: Argentina.Committed to @FIUHoops . Absolutely ELITE passer. Finds his open teammates. 13 assists to 2 turnovers for the type of passes he makes is insane. Only 5’10 but plays with high energy on defense and is able to finish at the rim for his size.

Tama Isaac: New Zealand.Committed to @UCImbb . High-IQ point guard who has been the standout of a 2-0 NZ team with 4 P5 players. Plays very under control and has some solid scoring versatility. Good find for Russ Turner, who has been running one of the best true mid majors,

Howard basketball transfer Dom Campbell has committed to UCF to play football. Campbell is a 6’9”, 268 lbs TE/OT who also spent time playing basketball at Notre Dame. Intriguing add for Scott Frost.

Wyoming big man Scottie Ebube has committed to NC State. Averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 points per game this season. Good depth big pickup for Will Wade. Also spent time at Southern Illinois.

High Point transfer Kezza Giffa is currently visiting Seton Hall. Averaged 14.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season. Was named to the All-Big South First Team the past two seasons.

Incarnate Word transfer Josh Akpovwa is currently visiting Southern Indiana. Saw limited playing time this past season, but averaged 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game as a freshman, while being an elite shot blocker.

Coastal Carolina transfer DA Houston has committed to Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Limited to one game this season due to injury but averaged 6.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists for Longwood in 2023-24, who made the NCAA tournament.

USC transfer Desmond Claude was set to arrive in Tuscaloosa this evening for a visit but his trip to Alabama is being pushed back, sources tell @On3sports. Something of note is a dead period goes into effect this Wednesday, May 21st and runs through June 1.

Nevada transfer Justin McBride has committed to James Madison. Averaged 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in his lone season at Nevada, and spent his freshman year at Oklahoma State. Really nice frontcourt pickup for Preston Spradlin.
