UVA needs to go hire Mike Pettine as HC. Jim Leonhard as DC. Mike McCarthy as OC. Mike Bloomgren as OL coach. Pettine coached Leonhard in the NFL. McCarthy hired Pettine as DC in GB. Bloomgren was Shaw's secret sauce at Stanford. Pettine/Shaw coaching tree crosses.

Never I ever seen such a dumpster fire. The commentators, the mic left on for the sideline reporter, the down and distance constantly wrong. May be better off listening to the radio.

This just in: UVA needs a physical big man that can draw fouls. I love Tony. BUT he makes weird line-up decisions that have proven very costly. BVP starting last season led to Shedrick leaving. And then again this season with the Rohde > Taine/Groves.
GT tonight was only the second team to have only 4 fouls called against them in a game this season between D1 schools. Fewest for a Virginia opponent in at least 12 years. Didnโt matter, but still.

This is misleading as hell knowing the coverages NE played but yes, Gonzo is very good.

Here is the thing.... UVA's facilities are bottom third, the academic standards are high, their coach is not a players coach, they aren't very talented, they don't have NIL money, and they aren't fun or creative to watch. So Tony ain't it. But this job is not a top 75 position.

I'm just here to say fire everyone. It's fair to say Tony Elliott was dealt a pretty bad hand. But he and his staff look defeated, overmatched, and generally disinterested. I'm sure he's a great man. But you have to stop the bleeding before it becomes irreversible.

This is INSANE. Will Anderson was on a path to a once in a generation type of prospect. He didn't end up quite hitting that trajectory, but then this dude comes out of no where with 'potential'
Several NFL scouts and coaches reportedly believe Tyree Wilson will be a โbetter overallโ pro than Will Anderson. Multiple scouts reportedly โwouldnโt be surprisedโ if Wilson went ahead of Anderson at the Draft. Wilson racked up 17 total sacks across 4 seasons in college.

I just don't understand this team. Defensively their post defense leaves a lot to be desired but also.... where is the shooting?

For the life of me I cannot figure out why this UVA basketball team isn't better. They've got final 4 talent, but Tony's gotta get these line-ups under control. Beekman's gotta be more aggressive. Franklin has to be more active, and Gardner has to be involved more.
