It is my great honour to represent Australia as the new Ambassador to Germany. I look forward to working with our 🇩🇪 partners on our shared priorities and interests. I am excited to get to know this beautiful country‘s culture and history – and, of course, share ours in return.

One year since taking action against Afghanistan for violations of CEDAW, Australia, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands condemn the Taliban's ongoing efforts to silence Afghan women and girls. We continue to pursue negotiations with Afghanistan under Article 29 of CEDAW.
