Another COVID-19 patient discharge celebration happened last week. Lucille King, an 87-year-old from Milwaukee, was discharged from Aurora Sinai Medical Center with our team members cheering her on!
Team members at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee started receiving the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this week. To date, more than 26,000 Advocate Aurora Health team members in Wisconsin and Illinois have received the first dose of the vaccine.

Santa Claus made a special visit to Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore to deliver a shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine today. Santa and his elf are both Public Safety team members at South Shore – and they helped bring joy and safety to our heroic frontline team members.
A team of cardiac sonographers at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center volunteered to join the fight against COVID-19, and in doing so, created global best practices that more accurately identify deadly symptoms and better protect caregivers from the virus.
