Lady Chaps clinched the Regional Championship with a win over Canton (9-4). Mya Cherry had a gutsy performance in the circle throwing 7 innings, striking out 6, and allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Defensively, Lady Chaps played very well, making several crucial plays in the field.

The Lady Chaps defeated Canton (6-5) in 8 innings in game one of their Regional Final Series. Mya Cherry was the winning pitcher throwing all 8 innings, allowing 5 hits and striking out 11. Tamia Cherry led the Lady Chaps on offense going 2-3 with a triple and an RBI.

The Lady Chap softball team defeated Hillsboro (10-0) to claim the Area Championship. With the win the Lady Chaps prove to 27-3 on the season. Mya Cherry was the winning pitcher throwing 5 shutout innings and striking out 11 while allowing just one hit.

The Lady Chaps finished off the regular season with 2 wins 16-0 and 17-0 over Ranchview HS. The Lady Chaps finish as district champions with a 11-1 district record and an overall record of 24-3. Molly Reid and Mya Cherry both threw 3 perfect innings in each game.

The Lady Chaps fell to Krum (7-5) to drop to 9-1 in district play on the season and 22-3 overall. Molly Reid was the losing pitcher. The Lady Chaps will close out district play on Monday at home in a double header vs Ranchview beginning at 5:30pm.
