Getting the 23 potato crop in a corner now but it looks like tonight’s rain is going to just beat us to the finish line 🏁. Considerably less than the 15mm of rain forecast would be greatly appreciated!!

Finally into the wheat 🌾 so halfway through. 10 more days to go 🤞. All yields disappointing particularly the winter beans which looked so promising.

Conditions👌 for putting slurry onto Spring Barley for @GFPagriculture . Finally got the @VogelsangUK booms on the @Bauer_FAN_UK tanker. Should have gone with them from new 🤦♂️

Bit of a brown trouser moment today when a sink hole developed on the headland in the beet field we were lifting. Harvester and trailers had been over the area several times already then one of the tractors just suddenly began to drop out of site😮

Really pleased with the 9rx so far. Excellent fuel economy compared to its predecessor. Av- 75l/hr- 11l/ha SLDing and 110l/hr- 8l/ha cultipressing. Appreciate the pictures are of it working on beaches 🏖️but it’s far from all like that.

This years new combine has finally arrived! 10 days after we started harvesting 🤦♂️. Claas have told us it will match the output of two of the 750s which went at the end of last harvest. Let’s see 💪
