The “Big Beautiful Bill” is a disaster — total mess. Billions in cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and working families. It’s not beautiful, it’s brutal. Georgia gets hit hard. People lose healthcare, food, dignity. #gapol.

The “Big, Beautiful Bill” would lead to significant reductions in healthcare access via stricter work/documentation rules, cuts in provider funding, and loss of federal match dollars. Expect more paperwork, greater risk of losing coverage, and financial pressure on opiate.

Georgia would face approximately $7–10 billion less funding over ten years, straining provider reimbursements .

The federal bill mandates that most able-bodied adults 19–64 work 80 hrs/month, extending beyond current Georgia requirements. Georgia’s own Pathways to Coverage work‑requirement pilot has seen extremely low enrollment (just ~4,200 of 240,000 eligible).
