Several Police Officers recently retired. We are in the process of hiring their replacements. We are at
#212
on our civil service list. Out of those 212 names on the list...15 people signed the list wanting to become a police officer.
Our hearts are heavy with sadness and tears, but our memories are full of his kindness, his friendship and his enormous smile. God bless Detective Sgt. Stephen Desfosses. We will miss you my friend.
A legend has left us today...but his legacy has not. He will live on because he taught us well. He was a Cop, who knew how to teach Cops. He will never be replaced, replicated or copied. He was and will be the only “Patrick Rogers”. He was the Commonwealth’s best.
