Claude has been absolutely NASTY this past week. Now they finally admit it. Typically their reddit just attacks the naysayers Satan himself could have orchestrated the chaos Claude has tried to unleash on me this past week. 😏

Yes and do follow smart educators like Melkey... True story. Vibe coding a concurrent backend in go will get you in quick trouble. Study some Melkey vids and you can build a billion dollar unicorn in no time!

my only complain with omarchy thus far... it doesn't see to rescan wifi to see available networks ~ ❯ iwctl NetworkConfigurationEnabled: disabled StateDirectory: /var/lib/iwd Version: 3.9 [iwd]# station wlan0 scan this is what works for me...

i have reemerged after 2.5 days of bash hell finally got my install script working... stay tuned for big moves now that this is out of the way (quick install was done last week; getting all the prod recipes to work was a slog..) IT EVEN WORKS ON omarchy!!!

it's like coming home after having no home tbf distro hopping is ROUGH. I learned so much by investing dozens upon dozens of hours in arch (and other distros). But i was always chasing config. I was routinely interrupted by technical issues. Debian was my goto for servers... so
I'm primarily building Omarchy for those, like me, who are switching from Mac or Windows. That's how we grow the Linux pie! But it's also wonderful to see long-term Linux users make the switch. There is so much wisdom and lore in this community I'm still learning, and we can

omarchy lore -- day THREE hot tip here... if you haven't found it, SUPER + right click + drag allows you to resize windows initially my brain took me the edges of each tiling window. Thinking i had to specify an edge to drag. Nah bruh! This is hyprland ... you can just drag!

i'm 1.5 days all-in on omarchy Rails devs aren't the only benefactors! i'm so grateful to @dhh my muscle memory from distro hopping kicked in immediately. and I haven't found a single "snag" impeding my workflow. for devs who traverse this guantlet... i've got something
I built Omarchy in part to dramatically lower the time a new developer at 37signals can go from unpacking a new machine to being productive with Rails, but this mission works just as well for developers in all other ecosystems too!
