I had the pleasure of presenting citations on behalf of Legislative District Three to Benjamin Fairfield, Colin Finney, Jack Fowler, Nicholas Grusemeyer, and Raymond Ridgeway of Troop 38 at their Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday.

I had a great time Friday night celebrating 75 years of the @njfop serving our communities. I am proud to be an Associate Member of Salem County FOP Old Oak Lodge 6, and I am grateful for all members and their willingness to wear the uniform and protect our neighborhoods.

I had a great evening celebrating a few remarkable women at the @GardenStateBSA's annual Women of Achievement Awards Dinner, including Salem County's Sue Ann Leighty, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity. Thank you all for your dedication to the community!

Happy National Farmer's Day to all the hard-working farmers in Legislative District Three and all across New Jersey who keep the "Garden" in Garden State!

On Sunday, Salem County, in partnership with Bridges for the Fallen and the Third Legislative District, dedicated Hawks Bridge in Carneys Point in his name, ensuring his sacrifice for his country would go unforgotten.

In 2007, SPC Kevin Hardin began a two-year stay at Walter Reed Hospital when his Humvee was the target of an anti-tank missile while on patrol in Iraq. He later succumbed to his injuries and passed away on January 22, 2012, at 25.

I was glad to attend with Pittsgrove Mayor Copare and Committeeman Schmidt, and I was honored to present a proclamation on behalf of the Third Legislative District.

On Saturday, I attended the 250th anniversary celebration of Olivet Church in Pittsgrove. Founded in 1773, this church has served generations of Salem County residents in their congregations.

I had a fun Saturday morning at the annual Woodstown Fall Festival. Main Street was packed with vendors and a community ready to welcome in the fall season. I also got a chance to meet a lot of constituents and catch up with some old friends.

AGventure Club Advisor and Fourth Grade Teacher Leevon Cogdill was also awarded the Full Bloom Award for her efforts in teaching agricultural literacy to the next generation of possible future farmers. Keep up the great work!

Assistant Secretary of Agriculture Joe Atchison, Commissioner Ed Ramsay, and I visited Upper Pittsgrove School this Tuesday to celebrate Farm to School Week. We visited classrooms, stopped by their new garden, listened to student-led presentations, and saw a butterfly release.

Also present were Senator Edward Durr and Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who presented Carey Italiano with a Special Proclamation for her efforts in raising awareness of childhood cancer. Keep up the good fight!

On Wednesday, Salem County's Board of Commissioners declared September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and recognized Vivian, Jaxon, and Luciana in their fight against cancer.

Join me in wishing them lots of success in the years to come as they continue to provide exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term living services for our aging residents in Salem County.

I had a great time in Mannington, celebrating Golden Rehab's rebranding as Autumn Lake Healthcare at Salem County last night.

They've made many improvements to their facilities recently. I wish them lots of success in the years to come as they continue to support the local produce industry here in the Garden State.

Senator Durr and I toured Eastern Propak's cold storage and produce packing facility in Glassboro and presented them with a citation on behalf of the Third Legislative District at their Grand Opening this afternoon.

As we go about our day, we should remember the lives lost 22 years ago, the bravery of the first responders who rushed to the scene that day, and the countless others who signed up to defend our nation following the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001.

Senator Durr and I spent the morning in Chestnut Branch Park for the Gloucester County 9/11 memorial service.
