Ryan Voykin captured this incredible shot of the North America and Pelican Nebulae (IC 5070 & NGC 7000) in Cygnus with his SVX140T. Both of these emission nebulae are located approximately 2,500 light-years away from Earth. #stellarvue

After a year of scientific scrutiny, a rock sample collected by the Perseverance rover has been confirmed to contain a potential biosignature. The sample is the best candidate so far to provide evidence of ancient microbial life on Mars. https://t.co/0BAO1dhMG8

Speaking from experience to really see the Aurora anywhere near civilization we need a G5. Aurora are not the moon with a specific Rising & Setting. They are a energy wave that comes in bursts.

I keep seeing people say "NOAA has issued a "Strong" (G3) Geomagnetic Storm Watch for late Monday into early Tuesday. An posting maps like this. This is inaccurate Aurora are energy waves there is no guarantee. G3 anywhere near civilization is not Naked eye visible.

You're driving in a torrential down pour come to a bus stop there are 3 people there. The woman/man of your dreams, your best friend and a sick elderly person. You have room in the car for one person. Who do you take with you?
