Asteroid Day is a great occasion to highlight why studying rocks on earth and in space is so important - and fascinating! 🌍☄️.Did you know there’s a meteorite crater the size of Munich in Southern Germany? Formed just 15 million years ago (a blink of an eye in geological time),.
💥A giant asteroid 1 km wide hit Earth at 20 km/s, extinguishing all life in a 100 km radius within minutes. ☄️“We humans are just beginning to realise what this actually means for us. I get chills when I think about this, especially since we know that this will happen again,”

With the liftoff of the four-member #Ax4 crew, we now have another great @esa astronaut in space 🧑🚀🚀 - side by side with our colleagues from @isro. Hats off to you, @astro_slawosz , for staying positive and focused through all the delays. Wishing you and the entire crew an.

It’s exciting and inspiring to see the African Space Agency officially taking off 🚀🌍.This isn’t just big news for Africa, but for everyone who believes space should be about working together, learning together, and dreaming big - together. Can’t wait to see what amazing things.
The establishment of the African Space Agency @AfSA_AU is a real milestone for the continent and signals an important advance for Africa’s space strategy. Space has the power to spur innovation and inspiration, and I look forward to working together for the benefit of citizens on

Sehr beeindruckend, Kompliment ans gesamte.
With this test flight, we were able to successfully gather valuable data and experience for future missions. Thanks to strict safety procedures from both Isar Aerospace and Andøya Spaceport, all personnel remained safe at all times.

I spent my morning on Mount Everest. OK, the view doesn't cut it, but the air is similar. ;). To keep my pilot license & active astronaut status I need to do a high altitude exposure training every few years @DLR_SpaceAgency. Quite impressive to see how rapidly we humans lose

Currently editing tonight's shot. and WOW. This is probably my new favorite ISS transit shot. beating out the one I captured with the silhouette over Tycho crater. Here's that photo for reference:
