We ended the #AstroRob2025's Excursion Day visiting a 2nd site (a surprise for all attendees!) prior to the nice explanation about the sunset over Almeria thanks to John Baruch. Around 30 people enjoyed the magnificient view!

During #AstroRob2025's Excursion Day (Oct 8) we took the chance to visit @ObsCalarAlto. Impressive! Thanks to Dr. Ana Guijarro and Javier (@Azimuth_Spain) for the detailed explanations given to the 80 visitors, who really enjoyed the visit!

We had a lovely opening talk (on Oct 6) by Marc Trueblood, one of the pioneers of robotic astronomy, who told us about the history of the field (including the early times at the Winer Observatory, USA) and how this has greatly evolved till now, inspiring the younger generations.

#AstroRob2025 started today Oct 6, with the official opening by @AJCastroTirado (SOC Chair) and J. A. Ramos-Cuadra (LOC Chair) at 11 am. More than 100 registered participants from 26 different nationalities eager to share knowledge and help advancing each other. The 8th edition!
