If we’re building infra for location-based apps — we should build one, right?. Our demo, inspired by @GainForestNow + @hypercerts, simulates biodiversity monitoring:. • Researcher records audio + location.• AVS verifies it.• Signed attestations published.• Results visualized

In Berlin, we build a spatial AVS that can:. → Verify location evidence.→ Run spatial checks like containment or coverage.→ Return a signed verdict. This is essential infrastructure for any location-based app.

We’ve been working on spatial computation in the EVM since 2019. It wasn’t practical due to cost and privacy requirements. An AVS moves that logic offchain and provides a decentralized, economically accountable way to verify where someone was and reason about what that means.

What does that mean?. It means we can now verify where something happened — and evaluate that claim using spatial logic. → Was someone inside a boundary?.→ Did they follow a path?.→ Did two areas intersect?.→ How far apart were two points?.etc . .

For seven years we’ve been exploring how to build location-based services for the decentralized web. Last week in Berlin, at the @eigenlayer hacker residency, we cracked a key piece of the puzzle: a decentralized spatial runtime.
