LOCATION VERIFICATION + PRIVACY I saw strong interest in what I call "infrastructure location proofs", to verify the location of network nodes. This is a natural next step after measuring with more passive signals like IP addresses, and fits the “don’t trust, verify” mindset.

Huh ... seems like it might be helpful to have a way of making sure our critical infrastructure is decentralized in all the ways that matter ... including geographically ...
AWS is down and then the internet stops working. But the blockchain, it never goe ... wait a minute. Scratch that. This sector is a joke. Everyone preaching decentralization and censorship resistance but in reality ... it's all 100% reliant on the cloud.
