Great work by @DRPS Air1 and Officers on the ground. With the ever increasing number of violent offences, tools such as the air support unit are a must. They assist in locating outstanding suspects, missing individuals and bringing suspect apprehension to a swift conclusion

Under Premier @fordnation’s leadership, our government has been clear: the federal government must act now to deliver meaningful bail reform. Thank you to the @PoliceAssocON for putting forward common-sense recommendations that will help make Ontario’s communities safer.

Too often, violent and repeat offenders are released on bail, endangering our communities and putting public safety at risk. Ontarians deserve better protection. Read our recommendations for bail reform to help make Ontario a safer place for everyone. https://t.co/wVBB4bzXqR

Yet ANOTHER example of an innocent bystander in the GTA getting caught in the crossfire or reckless gun play. Every single day there are several examples of this. There needs to be a serious look at the core issues and realize the current system IS NOT working. We need reform

A repeat violent offender was wanted on Canada-wide warrants and out on bail, awaiting trial on charges including allegedly shooting a homeowner and a dog during a break-in. Another example of our broken system - this won’t stop until real bail reform becomes law.

Another example of a repeat violent offender being released, with conditions, that in the end were completely innefective & meaningless. So fortunate a police officer or member of public wasn't seriously injured or killed #brokensystem
