Around 200 state & district officials have already been trained in SBC in past years with support from UNICEF and ROSHNI- Lady Irwin College, Delhi.The Training on Rolling out of Water Quality Testing through Field Testing Kits was also held for all the Resource Pool members.

Kudos to DLTF Nagaon for rescuing 3 children from child labour.

On 31/7/2025, based on a special operation, the DLTF of Nagaon rescued a total of three suspected child and adolescent labourers. Subsequently, the rescued children were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee for further necessary action and protection.

The officers also visited various institutions including the NRC (Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre), GMCH, Anganwadi Centres, State Home for Women in Jalukbari, One Stop Center, and Women Helpline. Senior officers explained the functions and roles of each institution in detail.
