I’ve faced the absolute toughest competition this world had to offer for 15 years now. During camp for a title defense I sustained a major injury that required surgery for the first time in my career. Now I have newcomers requesting I get my championship stripped. Zero wins over…
Last time Stipe fought and won, GTA: San Andreas had just come out on PS2. He will fight next for the undisputed heavyweight title, ahead of me, who’s the interim champ, active and ranked
#1
in the world right now. This makes me quite upset
Jon you’re letting your ego run wild here mate. I’m not downplaying you’re résumé, it’s incredible. Far superior to mine. You are known as the best fighter ever, and that’s EXACTLY why I want to beat you. Surely you can understand that?
I mean, it doesn’t really work like that. I was a champion when I was 23 years old, you can’t show up at age 30 pretending like you’ve been chasing me your whole life. I have no clue who 90% of his résumé is, meanwhile, I’ve been highlighting UFC events my entire career.
Forget all the other stuff about titles and résumé ect. I just think I can beat you in a fight mate, but if you don’t want to, I won’t keep chasing you 🏃♂️ 🛑
My stipe fight was booked well before yours came along, you weren’t even the back up fighter.. Trust me you’re the one who is coming around here with the inflated ego and entitlement. That intern championship means absolutely nothing if you seriously haven’t noticed yet. All your…
Final fun fact:
Since stipe last won a fight (Aug ‘20) , I have blown my knee out, went thru the rehab process and had a year off, also had 7 UFC fights, including 4 wins vs top 10 ranked opponents and won the interim title on 2 weeks notice
On that note. I will stop crying, accept it ain’t gonna happen and enjoy the fight that me and all the other fans want to see. Legend vs legend for the heavyweight title. Maximum respect guys. Yay
Stipe is one of my favourites. Loads of respect to him his Résumé is far superior to mine rn. That being said the UFC has never been about this. It’s about who’s the best right now, and I believe that’s me and it’s only right I get to prove it

Absolutely, Stipe has a great Resume and is a legend in his own right. So has Tony Furgeson. Maybe we should give him a shot at the undisputed title next too?
Tweeted that I would like to have a grappling match against Dmetrious Johnson , the legend himself, P4P number 1 holding the sport for the long time
I just wanna compete with the best in the sport, what’s wrong with that?
@AspinallMMA
Tom, my wife told me that if you win by first round finish next Saturday she'll stop sleeping with my brother. Please help a brother out. 🤞🤞
Just to add, big fan of hasbulla, seems like a lovely little fella.. but if he punched me when I wasn’t looking, he’d get one right back the little shit
Believe it or not I respect
@JonnyBones
and everything he has done. So impressive. I wish him all the best in his recovery and return against
@stipemiocic
Why do MMA corners very rarely throw the towel in or pull out fighters in between rounds? Seems way more common in boxing and almost frowned upon in MMA
Someone told me today that 7/8 main UFC main events this year have ended thru injury. It stings to be one of these. Look forward to returning in 2023 and being back 100%. Hungrier than ever
Still in slight disbelief that
@btsportufc
trusted me to talk about our beautiful sport live on TV. A quick msg of thanks and support to everyone involved and everyone for the kind words and also words of constructive criticism
On another note. “Pound for pound” is an absolute load of shite made up by nerds and can never be proven to be a “p4p champ”. It’s basically a pointless argument
We are some lucky MMA fans with some of the fights we have coming up over the next 12 months or so. What a time to be a part of it all. Anyone else have a stiffy?
Just to add, I’m anti steroids/PEDs. In fact, if I wasn’t a pro fighter myself I would probably take them to look better. I’m anti one guy having a massive unfair advantage in a sport where the aim is to physically hurt your opponent
