@ChaosSniperman If your friend has forgotten their password, they must reset it to be able to delete the message. Send them this guide on resetting their password: ^DB

@AskPS_UK @onevin555 Takes 5 minutes if you know what you're doing. Takes hours and causes you to lose all your saves if you don't, like me. Sigh.

@AskPS_UK @onevin555 What a dismissive response, several DAYS after it first started effecting peoples consoles. Really poor service from PS, should have made customers aware instead of letting rumours on how to fix the issue circulate and cause more trouble.

@AskPS_UK @onevin555 This is so RUDE. PS customer service has never been exceptional but it's ridiculous that it really went this far and nothing had been done until now. PS online anything has been crap as I can't share play still with my friends and chat cuts out, I get false connection speeds.

@AskPS_UK @Rhymestyle @onevin555 For anyone not affected, or that got this fixed, go into your messages on the ps4 and hit the options button and change the settings so only friends can send you messages should prevent stuff like this in the future.
