This was not voluntary redundancy it was forced redundancy. Employees with decades of service forced into making life changing decisions, take paltry vr or gamble on unnegotiated proposals and uncertainty. Heartbreaking 💔 #BAbetrayal

This will send a big message to people wanting to start a career..Now They will surely opt for the likes of Ryanair, Easy or virgin. Not worth applying for a job in a company that does not care at all.

Our CEO .@British_Airways would rather keep everyone furloughed to save a few pence than pay us to work and minimise the queues at the airport, ease passengers anxiety and stress. Not a good start after the easing of travel restrictions. #BAbetrayal

Offering 1-2-1 deals without Union consultation is just scare tactics to push some into accepting a NOT DONE deal. Wait for your UNION, ignore any company mail without their consulting our Unions. If it doesn’t come from .@BASSA_2000 am not even looking at it. #BaBetrayal

We were all proud to work for this airline before, NOT anymore. And I am not giving my money to them anymore, I won't book any holidays with them or fly with them.I will use EASYJET. They have lost my custom. I am sure many others will think the same. #BAbetrayal

Redundancy is not much and the pay will be 60% less than what i was on. They want us to work for free really, the more money they steal from us, the more money they make. Good luck to them coz i will not work for them. They are bullies. #BAbetrayal

@Grahamhiscott Meanwhile pilots about to sign off on temp measures. Rest of us hung out to dry. Even those on lowest pay will suffer due to 6 weeks stand down, unattainable ‘possible’ salaries, sacked for sickness etc. BA parent STILL buying €1bn airline. Cross party MP support for us amazing.
