It’s that time of year. Let it Snow!!!! Our Bolton artists are using their art to create winter wonderlands and international holiday murals. #letitsnow

Our 3rd -5th grade artists used design thinking while finding solutions for their scribble bots. It was a blast watching some robots crash out a few times then watching the S.T.E.A.M.E.R.S create solutions to keep their robots drawing. 😊 🧑‍🔬 +🧑🏽‍🎨

Giacometti sculptures were a hit! Back bends, toe touches, running men, handstands and headstands. Black bases with fluorescent splatter… my third grade had a ball. Almost time to present them at the museum. All we need are headshots and bios. :)

One of our newest exhibits in our kid curated museum is our New York Graffiti exhibition. Our kids have studied Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Lady Pink, Basquiat, and Bartholdi who was the designer of the Statue of Liberty. I can’t wait to see them bring these artists to life.

We are getting ready for museum night. Drawing under the tables pretending T be cave artists. Fun fun and more fun!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Shoes…Bolton 5th graders are designing sneakers to bring attention to the @SusanGKomen race for the cure!

Sometimes I look around my room and think to myself. It’s a hot mess in here!!!! But then I see the beautiful work, the laughter, the tears that turned to joy and pride in their work. The kid that likes to paint under the table or found their niche’ and it makes me 😊. #APSART

I’ve taught mural club every year and every where Ive taught since 2012 at FDHS and it still brings me the most joy! This is my pilot group at Bolton and I’m super proud of them!!

Bolton Academy Mural Club …3rd Grade is painting clean lines like Keith Haring, NY street artist. Each student traced another students silhouette. Next our students chose symbols, hieroglyphs and or Adinkra symbols to fill in the negative space. #apsart

It’s fall y’all!!!! Found a great use for used bubble wrap from Amazon deliveries. I found a few great kiddos to help me paint each bubble for our colorful fall corn. So grateful! When you do what you love you don’t know if you’re workin hard or hardly working! #apsart #APSART

I’m not a big fan of today’s cartoons… but the grandma on @disney Big City Greens always has us cracking up. Olivia chose My life as a teenage robot. She also love Where in the world is Carmen San Diego. She’s an old soul and I love it! Keep creating!!
