For World Autism Awareness Week we put together an event this afternoon. We had a spectrum of fruit juices, colour cupcakes and a decorating station and activity sheets. We also made information goodie bags for staff and a guess the number of pom poms which everyone enjoyed

Exploring more ways to make information accessible for our individuals. I’ve started updating our Sign of the Week posters with QR codes so individuals can directly to the Makaton website to watch that weeks sign. It also has the secondary benefit of indirect training to staff
