I was wondering how long it would take for 12ft to get taken down. Took longer than I expected.

Civ VI is free from Epic, and it's the Platinum edition too ($80 value). I still remember playing Civilization 1 and 2 as a kid, they defined my childhood.

People are *pissed* about this Nest Aware price hike, and rightfully so. Google will bleed customers over this.

The 5th season of Stranger Things will be its last. I hope it finishes on the high note with the final battle on New Year's Eve.

Holy hell, just got the Nest Aware price hike email - annual price is going up by 33% from $150 to $200. This is a colossal increase with no added value whatsoever. Who's going to cancel over this and migrate off the cloud to something local, like @Ubiquiti?

@Rivian @LucidMotors The Tesla infotainment and navigation UI is unmatched. It's going to be tough adjusting to another UI after 10 years. But between the Rivian's and the Lucid's, I will pick the Lucid any day.

@Rivian @LucidMotors The 2026 Rivian R1S has the Tesla NACS connectors. But they're inexplicably still on the wrong side of the car, so you will take up 2 spots at most Tesla Superchargers. Makes no god damn sense!. In comparison, the Gravity also has the NACS but it's in the same spot as all Tesla.

@Rivian @LucidMotors Also the Rivian R1S is so huge and rides so high (without a step that comes down), yet it has less cargo space than the Lucid Gravity. The Gravity has a normal ride height too, doesn't feel like a tank at all.

@Rivian @LucidMotors The Rivian R1S suspension is junk compared to the Model X, the Air (Lucid doesn't have Gravity test drives yet, but it should be even cushier than the Air), Mercedes SUVs, etc. It's so rough. The seats are uncomfortable. The UI is meh too. The Gravity feels much more luxurious.

Test drove the @Rivian R1S Tri and Quad Gen 2 yesterday. Saw the @LucidMotors Lucid Gravity in person today and test drove the Air. Between the two, there's no comparison - the Lucid Gravity wins in every way. Put down the deposit, should get the car before 9/30 rebate cutoff.

The rumors were true: ChromeOS is getting folded into Android as confirmed by @ssamat. A wise decision IMO.

That reveal was so god damn smooth, it should be illegal.

AdSense people, do you see a huge (20-30%) RPM/CPM drop starting yesterday (Saturday, July 12 2025)?. Trying to figure out if it's an issue affecting others or not, and what Google may be doing about it. cc @GoogleAds
