Y’all want teachers to be punching bags so bad & that’s why everyone is dumb now. They should accept horrible pay to damn near raise the monsters that some of YOU make, AND accept theft?? That wouldn’t fly in ANY other job. She gave them a chance to return it. They should have.
She shouldn’t have brought her personal property of that value to the classroom. Filing a police report on your Black students over a toy is wild.

the same kids that stole in my MIDDLE SCHOOL class turned into car thieves by the time we got to high school. y’all looking at it like petty theft and war against children when it’s not. they stole an item worth $300 and had a month to return it.
Calling the cops on children is grounds for barring you from teaching. I said what I said and I’ll say it again. We can build alternative systems of accountability to address harm that doesn’t involve the violence of police
