2/2 3x @british_army_skimo teams will set off with 1600 other competitors in the race to Verbier. Race registration in Zermatt today ✅kit check and final prep in Sion this afternoon.

1/2 After a turbulent week of weather in the Swiss Alps, with the first Zermatt race of the PdG cancelled, the second Zermatt race delayed by 24 hours, and then cancelled, we’ve been able to flip our teams into the Arolla departure scheduled for Sunday AM

3/3 is looking more likely. The team is hopeful that we will be bale to race but the weather and mountains must be respected. The international military patrols category remains alive with 7 nations still represented. Tune in for more updates as things progress.

2/3tt to Verbier race. Weather forecast over the Z2 race period remains settled so the #pdg2024 organisation team and all race participants are watching the forecast extremely carefully. All being well Z2 will depart Friday night, however at this point a 24hr delay until Saturday.

1/3 #pdg2024 update for the @british_army_skimo team: Bad weather unfortunately cancelled the Z1 Military patrol race, due to start last night. Military patrols have been moved to the Z2 race, scheduled to start Friday evening. UK Armed Forces still have 3 teams in the full Zerma.
