PV2 Jacob Smith enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard as a member of the mortar team. Responsible for the infantry’s most powerful weapon, the mortar, the well-trained mortar team often means the difference between victory and defeat for our troops.

PFC Phoenix Barrick enlisted with the #NationalGuard as a 92A Automated Logistical Specialist. Soldiers in this field are primarily responsible for supervising and performing management or warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts.

PVT Griffin Starcher enlisted in the #NationalGuard as a 15N Avionic Mechanic. These Soldiers know the complex avionics equipment used to fly aircraft inside and out. Avionics Mechanics play a critical role in keeping aircraft and their equipment safe and up to date.

🚚 In the Army National Guard, mobility is crucial, and 91B wheeled Vehicle Mechanics keep a company's wheeled vehicles moving. They also learn valuable technical skills that can set them up for a successful civilian career. 📸 Pics by, @SCArmyGuard LAARNG

This lightweight and highly mobile artillery cannon can be rapidly airdropped by Chinook or Black Hawk helicopters in the field to deliver indirect fire to the enemy.
