Our U13s narrowly lost 4-2 vs Goole Academy this afternoon in the English Schools National Cup. It was the first time they had played together as a team and they showed plenty of promise! A tournament tomorrow for them followed by another National Cup fixture next week! ⚽️💪

🎉 U14 Girls National Cup Victory! ⚽️🔥 Our U14 Girls faced Hayfield in the first round of the National Cup - their first fixture of the year and a first ever 11-a-side match for some of the team! 💪 They battled through a tense penalty shootout to win 3-2 on penalties! 🧤👏

It was great to see so many students at Darts Club this week! Join us every Monday, 2.50-3.50pm in the Sports Hall. All abilities welcome - come along and have a go!! 🎯👍

📣 Ski Trip 2026 - Parent Info Evening 🏔️🎿 An important letter has been sent to parents/carers of students attending the Ski Trip 2026 regarding the upcoming Info Evening. 📅 Weds 15th October We’re looking forward to seeing you there and getting excited for the slopes! ⛷️❄️

What an evening of extra-curricular at Armthorpe! 🤩 Over 30 girls taking part in football and netball training! Over 45 students representing the Academy in football fixtures vs Goole Academy - with lots of Year 7s proudly wearing the school shirt for the first time! ⚽️👏

Darts club finished for the year last Monday in a brilliant final event! Congratulations to Our Champions! M.Connor – League #1 Winner D.Marshall – Premier Tournament 1 Winner N.Gane – Premier Tournament 2 Winner We can’t wait for next year!! 🎯🏆

A huge well done to our incredible athletics team who gave their all at yesterday’s Consilium Olympics and proudly brought home 2nd place - and yes, even more records were broken! 💥💨 Great effort, and resilience from every student - we couldn’t be prouder 👏

🏆 SPORTS DAY PART 1 ✅ What an epic start! Dodgeball, rounders, and tug of war brought the heat (literally 😅). We were blown away by the fantastic engagement & team spirit shown by all students! Team Keegan has taken an early lead in the house comp, with Markham close-by 👀

In our last football fixture of the year, our Y8s and Y9s came together to play a friendly vs UTC this afternoon. Next year promises to be a good year for football with new Doncaster league tables and entries into National and South Yorkshire competitions! ⚽️👍

Quick reminder for students attending the Wimbledon trip tomorrow: 1. Meet at 7.30am at Doncaster Train Station. 2. Bring packed lunch or a way of purchasing food (Apple Pay/card) at Wimbledon. 3. Bring suitable clothing. Suncream, backpack and phone charger advised! 🎾☝️

🏆 Our Year 9s gave it their all at the Doncaster Schools Rounders Tournament on Wednesday at Hayfield! Competing against 6 other schools, they finished as runners-up – what an amazing effort! 🎉

This afternoon, our amazing Year 7 and Year 8 rounders teams hosted Ash Hill for an exciting series of matches. Every student gave it their all, showing fantastic teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill on the field. Well done to everyone who took part - you’ve done us proud! 👏💪

Well done to our Y9 and Y10 teams who competed at the Doncaster Schools Athletics Championships yesterday! 🏅🔥 💪 Outstanding performances all round — with the Y9 Boys finishing 3rd overall! 💥👏 🚨 Several individual school records smashed too — an incredible achievement!😊
