Today we launched a new prayer book, “In spite of Dungeon, Fire and Sword”, written by Canon Benny Fee, to mark the beginning of @ireland_acn #WeekOfWitness The booklet is a reflection on the stations of the cross in the company of modern martyrs, & a reminder of our persecuted

At this evenings Parish Mass of Remembrance @ArchbishopEamon spoke of our local Saint’ Malachy & encouraged us to pray for our dead & stay close to the saints. We remembered all who died during the year & those who we hold dear. May God’s mercy embrace their souls @armaghpriest

Today’s the Feast of St Malachy,our local Saint & former Archbishop. A reformer within the church, Malachy had gifts of healing. A friend of St Bernard he died on Nov 3 1148 while on a visit to Clairvaux Abbey France &was buried there. He was canonised in 1190 by Pope Clement III
