At this evenings Parish Mass of Remembrance @ArchbishopEamon spoke of our local Saint’ Malachy & encouraged us to pray for our dead & stay close to the saints. We remembered all who died during the year & those who we hold dear. May God’s mercy embrace their souls @armaghpriest

Today’s the Feast of St Malachy,our local Saint & former Archbishop. A reformer within the church, Malachy had gifts of healing. A friend of St Bernard he died on Nov 3 1148 while on a visit to Clairvaux Abbey France &was buried there. He was canonised in 1190 by Pope Clement III

Just as Jesus died and has risen again, so through Jesus God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep; and as in Adam all die, so also in Christ will all be brought to life. #AllSoulsDay
