Looks like VCF have managed to mess up another deal. Getafe already signed Neyou, Munoz and Sancris three players VCF have been linked with in the past. Last year they also took Peter.

Valencia under Meriton and Peter Lim is like an opportunistic beggar. No dignity in how the club conducts their activities. We are not far from a time where we will mostly have to field loaned players.

If that's the option to buy, then this is no better than a simple loan because Lim will never pay that sort of a fee even if the player does well. VCF should perhaps look at other targets because there is no way the player is worth that fee at least as of now.

Foulqier was exposed quite a bit against Marseille. Shows that it's not just the midfield and forward areas that require reinforcement.

VCF is dangerously close to a position they were with Javi Gracia and Gattuso. They made promises to Corberan which they will not keep. VCF did well against Marseille but there are glaring deficiencies which need urgent attention. Question is how long Corberan will tolerate.

When VCF had Neyou closed the idea was we can get someone better. When VCF had Fonseca almost closed there was the view that Neyou was better. Now VCF will find an obscure midfielder and the idea will be we should have kept Hugo Guillamon. Disastrous planning #LimGoHome.

What does Ron Gourlay have to offer that Corona wasn't able to already do at VCF? . It has not been a good transfer window as usual for VCF. Same old Meriton bs, just a new face.

Was offered by David Villas agency to VCF, could have been obtained for free as he had expiring contract. But Como paid for him. It's a real pity the move didn't pan out. I would mind VCF moving for him but if they can buy and if he is a third choice striker.

I have been hoping VCF makes this move. Lot of negativity from VCF fans. Understandable. But I think he might surprise us all. As explained in the thread he has excellent passing range which combined with his ball winning ability could offer sth similar to Enzo.

This could be an interesting option for VCF. From a profile perspective Fonseca is comparable to Barrenchea.

One player I wish VCF would pursue. Extremely technically gifted, and strong on the ball. Known to Corberan.

Last season we had no wide players during preseason and Baraja had to play Tejon and even Rafa Mir wide. This season no striker available to Corberan, not to mention the gaps in defence, wide positions and midfield. And yet you see no urgency from Meriton even after selling.

There are numerous talented players available in Spain and other top leagues who can still be acquired on a free transfer or loan. The problem is VCF dont act on time. The OK from Singapore never comes.

Sadiq made a big difference for us and also showed some of his best football in a while in VCF colors. Would love to see him back.

VCF should have replaced Mosquera with Yarek and brought in Copete as an additional defender. We would have probably seen that Yarek would have stepped up brilliantly like Mosquera did before him. As always they make these miscalculations.
