The Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association is so grateful for law enforcement officers, but today were especially thankful for the Arkansas Ag. Dept. law enforcement. These men do good work protecting the states largest industry.
On #NationalLawEnforcementAppreciationDay we are thankful for our Arkansas Department of Agriculture law enforcement officers and all they do to protect Arkansas citizens and agriculture!

I'm excited to be reappointing @Wesley__Ward as the Secretary of @ARDeptofAgricul. He has done an excellent job growing our largest industry while serving our nation in uniform. Agriculture is the backbone of our economy - and together we will work to remain a global leader.

Cattle producers across AR are facing difficult decisions due to the on going drought. Though there have been some spotty showers, the benefits have been minimal. The ACA will continue to push for drought relief for AR producers. #arpx #acaleads

Always good to visit with @ArkCattlemen and discuss the issues they’re facing. I listened to their concerns about the rising costs of fertilizer, gas & diesel, which we’ve got to get that under control so they can succeed, and talked about taking advantage of existing support.

Had a great first day of my 2021 annual Agriculture Tour! Today, I traveled around the Fourth District to meet with @ArFB, @usaricenews, and @ArkCattlemen and tour Pilgrim’s Pride Processing facility in De Queen and JACO Meats in Hope.

Senator @JohnBoozman visited Flying C Ranch to tour the Lee and Clark’s families operation today. Michael Lee serves as the ACA’s Area 7 V.P. and his family have an outstanding operation. We’re proud to serve cattle producers like the Lee’s and Clark’s! Thanks for coming Senator.
The Flying C Ranch in Conway gets extra style points for the way they lead a tour. This large cow-calf operation was our final stop where the president’s plans to increase taxes on family farmers and ranchers drove the discussion. #ARisAg

The ACA is proud to support the RFFA introduced by Ranking Member of @NatResources @RepWesterman. In 2021, 68 wildfires have already burned more than 1 million acres, in just two month! Mismanaged forest put cattle producers in AR and the USA in jeopardy. We must act now.
