One last thing - Apple is nowhere on the map right now with these kind of features. Is anyone thinking about jumping ship from Apple over to Android or Google Pixel specifically?

If Google can lock people into Gemini - just as it has done with search and other apps - this could be key for hte company to become a major player in consumer AI vs OpenAI, Meta and others. The question still remains - how will Google monetize this

There's a much bigger picture here. Google is trying to challenge OpenAI's ChatGPT and figure out its place in the consumer AI space. Android could be one of its best shots. Smartphones are a key device for how we interact with AI. Android is on billions of devices globally

Google honed in on all new Gemini-powered AI features: - Magic Cue: AI offers up relevant info from across apps - Camera Coach: Gives users prompts to take better pics These are genuinely useful. And a step toward this vision of "agentic AI" - an advanced AI assistant

Google remains a small player in the smartphone market. Its devices have continually improved in specs. But its biggest goal when releasing phones is to show off the best that the Android operating system has to offer. And that's what it did at the #MadeByGoogle event
