Got our hands on the new Optimizer Smart Mini lower profile CCM device. Third implant in the country. We have seen responders in our practice. We are excited about novel medical and procedural options for patients in the symptomatic HFrEF patients space after GDMT. #AZHRC

Historically, surgical MAZE procedures were thought be more definitive in creating transmural lines of block. Not a consistent finding! refractory atypical AFL ablation 2 months post MAZE/LAA clip/MVR supports sparse endocardial scar. #AblateAF @vswarup1 @pseudorone @bbkaffeine

Uncovered a secondum ASD during his AF ablation. So what did we do?..obtained PV isolation and then mapped the ASD completely. The EAM ‘ASD diameter’ correlated well with TEE imaging. New way to obtain ASD anatomy and plan for closure, if necessary ? @hantla @bbkaffeine @vswarup1
