🚀 Mission success for flight #VA263! With #Ariane6, Arianespace successfully launches the CSO-3 satellite .On March 6, Ariane 6 lifted-off from Europe’s Spaceport, French Guiana, at 1:24 p.m. local time (4:24 p.m. UTC, 5:24 p.m. CET).

It already knows where it’s going, no rivals to overtake during its mission, and it gets to its destination without spinning off its track. We think it'll go farther than Rainbow Road 👀. 👉If #Ariane6 could be steered, which Mario Kart personality would you put at the controls?.

We could have given it a red body. Or slick tires. Or put a turbo-up mushroom just ahead of the finishing line. But instead, we’ve embedded it into your favourite video game!

Today, #Ariane6 continues the European space adventure. But in every stage, every engine, there's a little bit of Ariane 5. A little bit of legend. 👉 Which #Ariane5 mission did you admire the most?.

The James Webb Space Telescope, JUICE, BepiColombo… Ariane 5 had a crucial role in furthering Europe’s space ambitions. 🛰️ Reliability, power, precision: one of the world’s most dependable rockets, with an unbroken string of 84 successful missions and 239 satellites deployed.

On July 5, 2023, Ariane 5 took to the skies for its last voyage. Sure, it marked the end of an era, but it also underlined its illustrious history. 117 flights, 27 years of missions 👇

When they’re not working on #Ariane6, they’re exploring other universes. Today, our engineers are sharing their favourite video games with us and also testing “Reach For the Stars”, a game developed by the @eartsup students in partnership with #ArianeGroup.

This event gave us an opportunity to showcase our space surveillance system, Helix. Helix is Europe’s largest private network of telescopes, entirely developed, deployed and managed by ArianeGroup. It enables the detection, tracking and characterisation of space objects.

ArianeGroup will complete its preparation and configure it for flight to carry out Europe’s first reusable launcher tests as part of the European Union’s SALTO program.

🚀 New milestone for Themis: the reusable rocket prototype has arrived at the SSC Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden!. The reusable 1st stage demonstrator, developed with the support of the @esa, has now reached its final assembly building.
